Where can we go before or after our Dungeon Hire?

The area around the dungeon has lots of fascinating places to explore which you could combine with your visit to the dungeon. If you are a visitor to London this external link; Tower Hamlets may be of help in planning your visit:  This external link also has some interesting information: Bethnal Green

We are are only a short journey away from London's Theatre Land: the "West End" sometimes referred to as Soho. Its only seven tube stops from Bethnal Green to Leicester Square.

Fetish Clubs

London has many fetish clubs to choose from and the dungeon is ideally situated to prepare for a visit to a club. We list some clubs in our Listings Section as well as our very own monthly fetish club... ISIS.

Being situated so centrally, London Dungeon For Hire provides a perfect launch point for those who have the energy to continue their adventure. You could get totally in the mood and just continue your scene at a club or other venue. The possibilities are mind boggling!! A good place to find out what is going on in London is the London Fetish Scene website Try this link to their excellent  LFS Events Calendar to find out what is on the day of your booking. You could also check out the clubs listed in our Fetish Club Links section

Restaurants

After your hire however you might just want to go for a quiet drink and a meal whilst you relax in your after glow. Please check these links for availability and suitability.

The Bistrotheque is just 5 minutes walk away and is a most swanky cosmopolitan bar and upstairs restaurant in a very unusual location. Entertainment is also available there.

Or a short cab drive (5 minutes) you can find the cosy and more conventional Cilcia "Mediterranean" restaurant, (1 Broadway Market, E8. 0207 249 87990)

Opposite the Cilcia you will find the equally attractive La Vie en Rose Southern French Restaurant 2 Broadway Market 0207 249 9070

Or an equally close distance you could try the The Premises Cafe ( The Premises Studios 201-209 Hackney Road , E2 , Tel: 020 7729 7593 ) based in a local recording studio and full of interesting musicians and arty types.

One of our favourite restaurants is the Thai Room at Bow Wharf. Just a very pleasant ten minute walk along the canal on a Summer Evening. Not the cheapest local venue but surely one of the better ones!

Our very local Indian restaurant: Al Amin is a favourite with us or if you want the full on East End experience go for a curry up Brick Lane, a ten minute cab ride away and lots of fun!

Fancy a "Gastro pub"?

The Dove in Broadway Market is ok and full of delightfully fashionable young people, serves bar food and has a restaurant.

The Royal Inn on the Park in Victoria Park is a short (very pleasant in the Summer) walk away, serves food and has an attractive beer garden.

Pubs

According to this link there are 997 pubs within 3 miles of Bethnal Green Tube Station. Phew! So no going thirsty around here!

The Approach Tavern in Approach Road is a good local boozer, 5 minutes walk away from the dungeon.

Comedy Clubs

The Comedy Cafe is a ten minute cab drive from the dungeon situated in the very fashionable Hoxton and Shoreditch area. Food and Drink with a programme of stand up Comics most nights of the week.

Jongleurs at Bow Wharf, a pleasant walk along the canal tow path or a 5 minute cab drive, comedy pub, food and entertainment.
